Patience is the Key to Make Money on the Net

Patience is a virtue really applies to making money online
I remember the first time I fell for the "Make $400 in 2 hours" advertisement. I was told to make a web site and implement some social bookmarking "secrets" that would drive me thousands of visitors within minutes. I'll let you figure out what the result of this journey were. If you haven't figured it out, just re-read the title of this Hub.
The thing about it is, money is one of the key driving motives of life. It controls just about everything in life, especially emotions. I could tell you that I can guarantee you the opportunity to make a lot of money on the net if you give me twenty bucks and a lot of you may be enticed out of either desperation or eagerness to unlock the key to financial freedom Marketers know this and really key their advertisement by feeding into your desire for money.
There is definitely sure fire ways to make money on the net, the key is patience. If you think that you're going to be able to just throw up a website with some ads and affiliate links, sit back and watch the money come in, you'll quickly learn you're wrong and it may discourage you from continuing your pursuit to make money on the net.
One of the most important lessons I learned in life and taught every person whose asked me for advice about marketing, internet marketing, or anything, is to sit back a take in the big picture of things. Being a former boxer, I learned of the importance of not rushing into things or else face dire consequences. Getting the big picture gives you the opportunity to see how things work and see what challenges may face you now, and in the future. You should apply the same in your pursuit of quick cash.
Think about it, unless your site has been building up tons of buzz leading up to the days its scheduled to go public, probably 99% of the internet will not even know your website exists. I like to liken my sites to starting an actual physical store. Like the common saying in business goes, "your first year is always the most difficult." Most people in your physical store won't know about your store at first or may come to visit but not trust to purchase anything yet. The same will apply to your site, you have to be patient because you have little credibility.
Not only do you have little credibility with your viewers, you also have little credibility with the search engines, your most important vehicle of traffic. Search engines of all types, not just the big ones, get probably upwards of millions of new submissions each day. Unfortunately, a good portion of those submitted sites don't even last a year. So when you first start your website the search engines pretty much put you on probation to see if you'll make it through boot camp, which is usually anywhere from 6 months to a year. After you've added consistent and fresh, related content to your site for the time frame needed for the search engines to give you any respect, you'll notice that your keywords will start ranking high on the search engines, which will not only bring you in more visitors, but visitors specifically searching for the information you are providing on your site. Once that target audience is aware of your site, you've figured out how to truly make money on the net!
My first site, which was a WordPress based site that used phpBay to generate cash from eBay auctions took almost 7 months to actually generate me a comfortable amount of money. So be patient, it is all worth it. A lot better then doing some black hat SEO tactic that could get you de-indexed by a bunch of search engines.
